Dear Gary,
A brief title examination has revealed that Olson Bros LLC is the current surface and mineral
estate owner of the above captioned acreage.
Southwestern Eagle, L.L.C. is the current owner of record of the existing Oil and Gas Lease
covering the mineral estate for the above captioned acreage. Southwestern Production Corp.
("SPC")is the current Operator of Record.
This letter shall serve as preliminary notice that SPC wishes to drill one oil and gas well at a legal
location on the above captioned acreage. I have reviewed the Spring Meadows P.U.D. #S-546
preliminary plat that you supplied to our company on August 15. 2001, and have determined that
a potential location for the said new oil and gas well will most likely fall within the 400' by 400'
future gas well envelope as indicated on your P.U.D. #S-546 plat.
The tank battery site for the above mentioned new oil and gas well is subject to review at the time
that the well is actually drilled. The proposed tank battery site that you have indicated in the NW
corner of the NW/41%,'E/4 of Section 30, as drawn on the P.U.D. #S-546 plat, should be able to be
utilized for the production equipment necessary for the proposed new oil and gas well.
The ideas proposed in this letter are preliminary. More detailed meetings between both parties
mentioned in this letter are required before actual drilling is commenced.
