RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR
GRAVEL EASEMENT IN PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION
9 , TOWNSHIP 4 NORTH, RANGE 67 WEST OF THE 6TH P .M. , WELD
COUNTY, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been advised
that a certain parcel of land used by Weld County for gravel
extraction purposes is no longer being utilized, and
WHEREAS , said property (known as the Becker pit) is more
particularly described as follows , to-wit:
Beginning at a point 400 ' South of the North-
east Corner of the Becker Farm described as
the SWa of Section 9 , Township 4 North,
Range 67 West: the are is more fully
described as the 4 ridges immediately West
and South of the point of beginning.
WHEREAS , in order to clear Weld County' s records , the Board
deems it necessary to Quit Claim this easement to the present
owner of the surface, and
WHEREAS , the present owner of the surface is willing to
accept a Quit Claim Deed from the County of Weld, and
WHEREAS , the Board deems it advisable to release any claim
which the County of Weld may have to remove gravel, sand and
other road-making materials from the above described property,
those rights having been granted to the County of Weld by virtue
of an instrument recorded at Book 1543, Page 517 , Weld County
records; and further to include the property for assessment for
tax purposes .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of the
Board be, and hereby is , authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed
from the County of Weld to the present owner of the surface
for the above described property.

RE: QUIT CLAIM DEED - BECKER PIT
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the above described
parcel shall no longer be considered as tax exempt property.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of
October, A.D. , 1983.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS , that the County of Weld , a
subdivision of the State of Colorado, for good and sufficient
consideration , hereby sells and quit claims to THE PRESENT OWNER
OF THE SURFACE OF THE BELOW DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY the following
real property in the County of Weld and State of Colorado,
to-wit:
Beginning at a point 400 ' South of the
Northeast Corner of the Becker Farm described
as the SWa of Section 9 , Township 4 North,
Range 67 West: the area is more fully
described as the 4 ridges immediately West
and South of the point of beginning.
with all its appurtenances .
The purpose of this instrument is to release any claim which
the County of Weld may have to remove gravel , sand and other
road-making materials from the above described property, those
rights having been granted to the County of Weld by virtue of an
instrument recorded at Book 1543 , Page 517 , Weld County records;
and further to include the property for assessment for tax
purposes .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF , said County of Weld , acting by and
through its Board of County Commissioners , has caused the
corporate name to be hereunto subscribed and its seal to be
hereunto affixed and attested by the Weld County Clerk and
Recorder this 19th day of October , A.D. , 1983 .
