Re: Request for traffic counts on WCR 23 and WCR 74 approaches to Severance
Dear John:
This letter will confirm your recent telephone conversation with Frank Hempen, Director of
Public Works, regarding the acquisition of traffic counts on WCRs 23 and 74 as they enter the
Severance city limits.
The Public Works staff will conduct one 72-hour traffic count with vehicle classification on each
of the four primary entrances to Severance. You may expect staff to formalize the exact
locations for the counts within the next several days.
If weather permits, the counts will be taken the week of November 11th.
In accordance'with County Policy, the Public Works Department will submit an invoice for the
cost of time and equipment.
Please contact Dean Dreher at 970-356-4000, Extension 3765, if you have questions.
Very truly yours,

The Town of Severance is beginning to experience some inquiries into commercial development
