RE: AUTHORI ION FOR THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH
LEGAL CTION AINST MARY MILLER AND KEITH MILLER FOR VIOLATION OF
THE WELD COUN ODE
WHE the B of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute an the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the aff irs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS Mari MiNr and Keith Miller, VI #0100314, are allegedly in violation of the
Weld County Co , and\\\\\\

WHEREAS, des ite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has
not been corrected, and

WHEREAS, on the 10th of Se tember, 2002, a public hearing was held before the
Board of County Commissioners fo the purpose hearing testimony relating to said violation,
and
WHEREAS, Mary Miller and Keith ' ler we resent or represented at said
hearing, although all parties were notified of id he ing by Department of Planning Services
staff, and �j
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissio rs de•ms 't a. ' able to refer said
violation to the Weld County Attorney's Office for legs ction, , an instruction for delay of
action upon such referral until October 10, 2002, to alto adeq .te time for the property owners
to submit an application for a Recorded Exemption.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board f County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that VI #0100314 be, and hereby is, r erred to the Weld County
Attorney's Office for legal action against Mary Miller and Keith ler to remedy the violation of
the Weld County Code, and any other persons occupying the pro erties, any persons claiming
an interest in the properties, and any persons acting in active con rt with the identified parties,
with an instruction for delay of action upon such referral until Octob r 10, 2002, to allow
adequate time for the property owners to submit an application for a Recorded Exemption.
