RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO UNDESIRABLE PLANT MANAGEMENT ADVISORY
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Undesirable Plant Management Advisory
Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that George Beck be appointed to said board to
replace Greg Winter; and that Timothy Johnson be appointed to said board to replace Mike
Coan, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint George Beck to said board, with
his term to expire August 19, 2004; and to appoint Timothy Johnson to said board, with his term
to expire August 19, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that George Beck be, and hereby is, appointed to the Undesirable
Plant Management Advisory Commission, with his term to expire August 19, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Timothy Johnson be, and hereby is, appointed to the Undesirable Plant
Management Advisory Commission, with his term to expire August 19, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of March, A.D., 2002.
