HomeMy WebLinkAbout20022662.tiff WELD COUNTY COUNCIL RESOLUTION 136 RE: SALARIES OF WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WHEREAS, Section 13-8(1) of the Weld County Home Rule Charter states that the Weld County Council shall set the salaries of all elected officials; and furthermore, in the case of County Commissioners, the Charter provides for a delay in the effective date of said salary changes so as to provide for equal compensation of all Commissioners at all times; and WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has, by a majority vote, agreed that the salaries of the Weld County Commissioners should be as follows: $63,000 for the year 2005 and $65,000 for the year 2006, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all Weld County Commissioners shall be paid $63,000 for the year 2005 to take effect on the first working day of 2005; and $65,000 for the year 2006 to take effect on the first working day of 2006. The motion expressed in the above Resolution was duly made, seconded, and approved by the following vote on the 20`" day of August 2002. The motion expressed in the above Resolution was duly made, seconded, and approved by the following vote on the 20th day of August 2002.
