RESOLUTION 136
RE: SALARIES OF WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, Section 13-8(1) of the Weld County Home Rule Charter states that the Weld
County Council shall set the salaries of all elected officials; and furthermore, in the case of County
Commissioners, the Charter provides for a delay in the effective date of said salary changes so as to
provide for equal compensation of all Commissioners at all times; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has, by a majority vote, agreed that the salaries of the
Weld County Commissioners should be as follows:
$63,000 for the year 2005
and
$65,000 for the year 2006,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all Weld County Commissioners shall be paid
$63,000 for the year 2005 to take effect on the first working day of 2005; and $65,000 for the year
2006 to take effect on the first working day of 2006.
The motion expressed in the above Resolution was duly made, seconded, and approved by
the following vote on the 20`" day of August 2002.

RE: SALARY OF WELD COUNTY SHERIFF
WHEREAS, Section 13-8(1) of the Weld County Home Rule Charter states that the Weld
County Council shall set the salaries of all elected officials; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has, by majority vote, agreed that the salary for the
County Sheriff should be:
$80,000 per year for the years 2003 and 2004,
and
$90,000 per year for the years 2005 and 2006,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Weld County Sheriff shall be paid $80,000
per year for the years 2003 and 2004, and $90,000 per year for the years 2005 and 2006 with said
salary to take effect on the first working day of each year.
The motion expressed in the above Resolution was duly made, seconded, and approved by
the following vote on the 20th day of August 2002.

RE: SALARIES OF ELECTED OFFICIALS:
WELD COUNTY ASSESSOR AND WELD COUNTY CLERK/RECORDER,
WHEREAS, Section 13-8(1) of the Weld County Home Rule Charter states that the Weld
County Council shall set the salaries of all elected officials; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has, by majority vote, agreed that the salaries of the Weld
County Assessor and the Weld County Clerk/Recorder should be paid as follows:
$67,000 per year for the years 2003 and 2004
and
$75,500 per year for the years 2005 and 2006,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Weld County Assessor and the Weld County
Clerk/Recorder shall be paid $67,000 per year for the years 2003 and 2004, and $75,500 per year for
the years 2005 and 2006 with said salary to take effect on the first working day of each year.
The motion expressed in the above Resolution was duly made, seconded, and approved by the
following vote on the 20`" day of August 2002.
