RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO LOCAL JUVENILE
SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant
to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together
with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services
Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gloria Romansik be appointed to said
committee, as the Social Services representative, to replace Al Arriessicq; that Stephanie
Hewitt be appointed as the Public Defender's representative; and that Francie Murry be
appointed as a community representative; and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Shannon Lyon's appointment designation
be corrected from "representing the Public Defender's Office as a community representative"
to "community representative."
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Gloria Romansik be appointed to said committee, as the Social
Services representative, to replace Al Arriessicq; that Stephanie Hewitt be appointed as the
Public Defender's representative; and that Francie Murry be appointed as a community
representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Shannon Lyon's appointment designation be corrected from
"representing the Public Defender's Office as a community representative"to "community
representative."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Gloria Romansik be appointed to said committee, as the Social
Services representative, to replace Al Arriessicq; that Stephanie Hewitt be appointed as the
Public Defender's representative; and that Francie Murry be appointed as a community
representative.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Shannon Lyon's appointment designation be corrected from "representing the
Public Defender's Office as a community representative"to "community representative."

APPOINTMENT TO LOCAL JUVENILE SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE
Pursuant to CRS 19-2-1602.7, and upon the recommendations of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
IT IS ORDERED:
The following individuals are appointed to the Juvenile Services Planning
Committee for the Nineteenth Judicial District.
Gloria Romansik is appointed to replace Al Arriessicq as Social Services
representative.
Stephanie Hewitt is appointed as the Public Defender's representative.
Francie Murry is appointed as a community representative.
Shannon Lyons designation is changed from "representing the Pubic Defender's
Office as community representative" to "community representative."
