RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1131 FOR STEVE
LANCE - SUBURBAN SAND AND GRAVEL COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution #962040, dated November 13, 1996, the Board did approve
Use by Special Review Permit #1131 for a Roping Arena for Steve Lance on the following
described real estate, to-wit:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption #976; being part of
the S1/2 of Section 30, and the NE1/4 of Section
31, all in Township 2 North, Range 66W West of
the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Conditions of Approval for Use by Special Review Permit #1131 were
never completed, nor the plat recorded, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the current property owner,
Suburban Sand and Gravel Company, 5400 Fenton Street, Arvada, Colorado 80002, to vacate
said Use by Special Review Permit#1131, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of
the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this
matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Use by Special Review Permit#1131 be, and hereby is, vacated.

SUBJECT: Vacation of USR-1131
The Department of Planning Services has received the attached letter dated October 22, 2002
from Suburban Sand and Gravel Company. Mr. Dean Craft, President, is requesting that USR-
1131 be vacated. The original applicant was Mr. Steve Lance. He has since sold the property to
the Suburban Sand and Gravel Company. The Conditions of Approval were never completed
and the plat was never recorded. The new property owners are wishing to vacate the permit so
as to avoid complications in the future.
Background information:
Legal Description: Section 30, T2N, R66W of the 6th P.M., Weld County, CO.
Location: East of and adjacent to Weld County Road 25; 1/4 mile north of Weld
County Road 14.5
USR-1131: USR-1131 was approved by the BOCC on November 13, 1996, for a
roping arena.

As current owners of the parcel of land included in the
above referenced Use by Special Review we have no interest in pursu-
ing this case. Please consider this letter as an official
withdrawal of Case No. USR-1131 .
