RE; AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CREATION OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ''
TRUST FUND IN COUNTY TREASURY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and Weld County Home Rule
Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners periodically
requires deposits of monies for bonding or security purposes to
insure that the interests of Weld County are secured, and
WHEREAS, Weld County is in receipt of $2000 . 00 from Greeley Video
Inc. for security until cable construction is completed in the
unincorporated area of the County, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administrative Services
and County Treasurer recommend that it would be in the best
interest of Weld County to authorize the Treasurer of Weld County
to create a Trust Fund to deposit such funds for security and
for proper management of money, and
WHEREAS , the Director of Finance and Administrative Services
has advised the Board that Weld County is in receipt of a check
in the amount of $2 , 000 . 00 that should be deposited for security
or bonding purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that the Treasurer of Weld County is here-
by authorized to create and maintain a Trust Fund for the Board of
County Commissioners to deposit such funds that are submitted to
the Board as a deposit for security or bonding purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that the check currently held by the
Director of Finance and Administrative Services, in the amount of
$2 , 000 . 00 , shall be deposited in such fnd ,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Director of Finance and Administrative
Service and the County Treasurer shall maintain appropriate records
to be able to ascertain, at any given time, an accounting of the
funds in detail that are in the Trust Fund created above.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that any interest accruing to funds in
this Trust Fund shall be deposited in the General Fund of Weld
County, Colorado, unless otherwise specified by Resolution or
Court Order.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
September, A. D. , 1982 .

Enclosed please find a check in the amount of $2,000 (two thousand
dollars) drawn on the account of Greeley Video, Inc.
This amount is in compliance with Weld County Ordinance No. 94, page 22,
Item A and B (Letter of Credit/Cash Deposit) .
Greeley Video, Inc. application for a 15 year, nonexclusive cable television
franchise was approved by the Commission at public hearing August 25,
1982.
Other bonds and insurance are being forwarded to your attention.
Please be kind enough to issue and send to me a receipt for enclosed
check No. 1825 issued August 27, 1982.
