RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON WELD COUNTY
ROAD 15 AT WELD COUNTY ROAD 62
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Public Works has recommended to the
Board that"Stop" and "Stop Ahead" signs be installed on Weld County Road 15 at Weld County
Road 62, to ensure safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic control devices are necessary for
the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of Public Works be, and hereby is, directed to
install "Stop" and "Stop Ahead" signs on Weld County Road 15 at Weld County Road 62, for
the safety of the general public, and said signs shall conform to the State Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of March, A.D., 2002.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Trac ol Devices
Intersectionrof WCR 15 and WCR 62
WCR 62 between WCR 13 and WCR 17 is currently under construction and is scheduled to be paved. Upon
completion, WCR 62 will be the "through" road. Traffic control devices will be required at this intersection.
It is recommended that a stop and stop ahead sign is installed on WCR 15 at the approach to WCR 62 to ensure
the safety of the traveling public. The signing will be installed to conform to the Uniform Traffic Control Manual.
