FINDINGS AND RESOLUTION RE: FINDINGS AND RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPLICATION OF BUSY, INC., DBA BORDERLINE, FOR A TAVERN LIQUOR LICENSE, AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIR TO SIGN - EXPIRES OCTOBER 16, 2003 The application of Busy, Inc., dba Borderline, located at 68947 Highway 85, Carr, Colorado 80612, with a mailing address of P.O. Box 5925, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82003, for a Tavern Liquor License, was considered on the 7th day of October, 2002, at 9:00 a.m., and the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, having heard the testimony and evidence adduced at said hearing, having considered the testimony, evidence and remonstrances filed with said Board, and having carefully weighed the same, now makes the following findings: 1. The evidence discloses that the applicant has sustained the burden of proof as to the desires of the inhabitants. 2. The applicant is of good character and reputation. 3. The applicant has proven the reasonable requirements of the neighborhood. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has considered the application of Busy, Inc., dba Borderline, 68947 Highway 85, Carr, Colorado 80612, for a Tavern Liquor License, for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors, for consumption by the drink on the premises only, and WHEREAS, said applicant has paid to the County of Weld the sum of $500.00 for the hearing fee, in addition to the other required fees, and WHEREAS, due to the Findings of the Board of County Commissioners in this matter as stated herein, the Board deems it advisable to approve said application for a Tavern Liquor License for Busy, Inc., dba Borderline. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that having examined said application, the qualifications of the applicant, and the testimony of those present at the hearing, does hereby grant License Number 2002-14 to said applicant to sell malt, vinous, and spirituous beverages for consumption by the drink on the premises only, only at retail at said location; and the Board does hereby authorize and direct the issuance of said license by the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners, attested to by the Clerk to the Board of Weld County, Colorado, which license shall be in effect until October 16, 2003, providing that said place where the licensee is 2002-2701 �•e.
