RE: CHANGE ORDERS FOR SOUTH COUNTY BUILDING.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Bley Associates, managing architect for the project, has sub-
mitted change orders on the South County Services Building on the attached
letter dated November 12, 1981 for Tri-Cor Builders, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Director of
Building and Grounds recommend approval of the following change orders for
Tri-Cor Builders:
Item #1: Modifications to sleeping quarters for Ambulance personnel
($1,600.00)
Item #3: Modification to duct work ($425.00)
Items #2, 6, & 8: Conceal pipes in exam rooms, relocate tubing for
heating in bathroom, patch block work on South side ($1,225.00)
WHEREAS, Bley Associates have solicited bids on the tile and carpeting
for the remainder of the building, and A-1 Interiors can provide the tile and
carpeting in conjunction with the remainder of the job for the low proposal
of $1,750.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
hereby approves and authorizes the above change orders for Tri-Cor Builders
in the total amount of $3,250.00, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposal from A-1 Interiors for the
remainder of the tile and carpeting are hereby approved and authorized in
the amount of $1,750.00.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of November, A.D. , 1981.
