Dear Chairman Vaad:
On behalf of Western Mobile, Inc. and its parent company Lafarge North
America, Inc., I want to thank you and the other members of the Board of County
Commissioners for the thoughtful consideration given to our application (USR 1360) at
the April 17th Board hearing.
It is our understanding that Commissioner Jerke will review the record of last
Wednesday's hearing and cast his vote on the motion before the Board during the
continuance of that hearing on April 24, 2002. Please know that representatives of
Western Mobile, Inc. will attend next Wednesday's hearing and be prepared to answer
any questions if appropriate.
