This is in reply to your open records request dated June 3, 2002, for information regarding the
intersection of State Highway 257 and Weld County Road 74.
Our Public Works Department keeps files for all Weld County roads. They do have a file for Weld
County Road 74 for your review.
I request you contact Ms. Zelma Wahl at (970)356-4000, extension 3756 to make an appointment
to view the road file at the Public Works office. Ms. Wahl will coordinate the viewing and make
copies of whatever information from the files you find pertinent.

On behalf of our client, Robert Flockhart, and pursuant to C.R.S. §24-72-201 et seq., we
request access to copying of the following Weld County Records pertaining to the intersection of
Weld County Road 74 and Highway 257, from January 1, 1995 to the present:
1. Motor vehicle accidents.
2. Maintenance of traffic signs and control devices.
3. Reports of problems with traffic signs and control devices.
4. Reports of overgrown weeds and grasses.
5. Maintenance of, including mowing of, weeds and grasses.
