RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR
CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF THE PATROL VEHICLES (QUANTITY 4)
BID - SHERIFF'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for Patrol Vehicles (Quantity 4) for the Sheriff's Office, Bid Request No. B0200037, to
allow for purchasing the vehicles before closure of the last ordering date on January 25, 2002,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-
day waiting period for said bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for the Patrol Vehicles (Quantity 4) for
the Sheriffs Office, Bid Request No. B0200037 be, and hereby is, waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Garnsey and Wheeler,
in the amount of$81,152.40, be, and hereby is, accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 21st day of January, A.D., 2002.
