HomeMy WebLinkAbout20020454.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE CHANGE ORDER LETTER FOR RESIDENTIAL TRANSITION AND DIVERSION NON-RESIDENTIAL CONTRACT ALLOCATION LETTER#02-19 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Change Order Letter for the Residential Transition and Diversion Non-residential Contract Allocation Letter#02-19 between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Justice, commencing upon full execution of said change order letter, and ending June 30, 2002, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said change order letter, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said change order letter, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Change Order Letter for the Residential Transition and Diversion Non-residential Contract Allocation Letter#02-19 between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Justice, be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said change order letter. Box 758 Greeley, CO 80632 Dear Ms. Zuber: Pursuant to paragraph 5 of Exhibit B (Allocation Letter) to the contract between the Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ), and the Board of Commissioners of Weld County, DCJ hereby notifies you that the maximum amount payable from the State under Allocation Letter # 02-19 to Contract # DCJ 00-04-19, covering the period July 1,2001 through June 30,2002,is hereby changed. The maximum Bill Owens amount payable for residential transition placements at a daily rate of $37.72 per GOVERNOR offender is hereby decreased by $105,000 to a new total of$844,978. The maximum C.Suzanne Mencer EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR amount payable for diversion non-residential placements at a daily rate not to exceed an Division of average of$5.12 per offender is hereby decreased by$22,000 to a new total of S125,635.
