"Suki" Tsukamoto, County Clerk & Recorder; and Donald Mueller, County Treasurer would like to propose the following: PROPOSAL FOR THE ASSESSOR'S AND TREASURER'S OFFICE: The business hours of the County Assessor and the County Treasurer be changed to 8:00am - 5:00pm. "This would give common hours for the two offices and the hours would coincide with other county offices, thereby it being less confusing to the public." PROPOSAL FOR THE CLERK & RECORDER'S BRANCH OFFICES: The business hours of the Branch Office in Ft Lupton and Del Camino be changed to 8:00am - 5:00pm. VAccording to our tracking, we have between 1 to 3 customers during the business hours of 7:30am - 8:00am. Of would be more cost effective and better customer service to have more clerks there from 8:00am -5:00pm. On the future, we would be willing to change the business hours back to 7:30am, if business continues to grow. Page 1 From: SUKI Tsukamoto To: DON Warden Date: 4/8/02 2:47PM Subject: I understand... Don, I do understand where you are coming from. I understand we are here to serve the public. Thank you for your honest opinion. I have always valued your opinion and think very highly of you. Yes, we are here to serve the public. Cutting back the hours would not help. It's a suggestion that was expressed to me by some of my staff. I wanted the record to show that I had asked. I had already told my staff that since we are here to serve the public, I had my doubts that the hours would be changed. Just had to tell you. Thanks for your time and for understanding. I think the 730AM opening is still important for customers, based upon the management study done two years ago. Plus, there is evidence that people use it at 730AM. I think Southwest Weld will grow fast as people realize it is there, especially commuters to Denver at 730AM. Just my thoughts >>> SUKI Tsukamoto 04/05/02 12:05PM >>> Please review the attached proposal. I would appreciate feedback whether you agree or disagree. Please let me know what changes you want. Sincerely, Suki Hello
