RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT COOPERATIVE
REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -WELD
COUNTY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to the Child Support
Enforcement Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Department of Social Services, and Weld County Attorney, commencing July 1, 2002, and
ending December 31, 2002, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said
amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, ex-officio Board of Social Services, that the Amendment to the Child
Support Enforcement Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement between the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on
behalf of the Department of Social Services, and Weld County Attorney be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of August, A.D., 2002, nunc pro tunc July 1, 2002.

RE: Amendment to Child Support Enforcement Agreement for Legal
Services Between Weld County Department of Social Services and
Weld County Attorney
Enclosed for Board approval is an Amendment to Child Support Enforcement Agreement
for Legal Services between the Weld County Department of Social Services and the
Weld County Attorney.
The Amendment is necessary to change the position classification and provide
appropriate salary increases for the Assistant County Attorney assigned to Child Support.
The total costs will increase from $85,245 to $92,857.80.
The term and other provisions of the original Agreement remain the same. The term of
the Agreement is January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002. The source of funding is
Child Support Funding.
