An error occurred in the calculation of Burlington Northern / Santa Fe 2002
Notice of Valuation. An incorrect markei-to-book ratio was applied to the
computer software deduction claimed by the company. As indicated in the table
below, the revised valuation for Burlington Northern / Santa Fe Railroad
represents a reduction from the original notice sent to your office August 1 .
