RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF BRENT HOPKINS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Brent Hopkins be appointed to said board
as the Cache la Poudre FFA District representative, to replace John Stahley, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Brent Hopkins to said board, with
his term to expire September 30, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Brent Hopkins be, and hereby is, appointed to the Fair Board, with
his term to expire September 30, 2004.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 20th day of February, A.D., 2002.
