RE: APPROVE NOTICE OF RENEWAL FOR COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS
NONRESIDENTIAL INMATE SUPERVISION PROGRAM SERVICES AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Notice of Renewal for Community
Corrections Nonresidential Inmate Intensive Supervision Program services between the County
of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Weld County Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado
Department of Corrections, commencing July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2003, with further
terms and conditions being as stated in said renewal, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said renewal, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Notice of Renewal for Community Corrections Nonresidential
Inmate Intensive Supervision Program services between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Weld County Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado Department of Corrections be,
and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said renewal.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of April, A.D., 2002.

NOTICE OF RENEWAL
March 29, 2002
Board of Commissioners of Weld County
The Weld County Community Corrections Board

In accordance with paragraph 3.A. of Department of Corrections Contract routing number
02CAA00046, the State notifies Board of Commissioners of Weld County., that it hereby
exercises its option to renew the Contract. The renewed contract term shall be July 1, 2002
through June 30, 2003. The State intends to change the available State funds encumbered to
$25,000 for the purchase of community corrections nonresidential inmate supervision program
services. The State's financial obligation under Contract section 1.A 2) for Fiscal Year 2002-
2003 may not exceed Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000).
This Contract renewal shall not be deemed valid until it shall have been approved by the
Controller of the State of Colorado or such assistant as he may designate. This provision is
applicable to any contract involving the payment of money by the State.
Please acknowledge this renewal notice by signing in the area indicated below. Kindly return the
form at your first opportunity so that the Department may submit it for the required approval of
the State Controller.
