April 16, 2002. The purpose of such hearing is to consider a zoning change from
Agriculture to PUD. The hearing will be held in room 210 at the Weld County Planning

Dear Kim:
RME Land Corp. and RME Petroleum Company(together the "RME entities") received a
notice of a hearing to be held before the Weld County Planning Commission on April 16 for a
change of zoning that has been proposed by Mike Siegrist and Riverdance Development Company
for property that includes a portion of Section 35, Township 3 North, Range 68 Wesi.
As you are aware, this law firm represents the RME entities with respect to the land use
application. RME Land owns all of the coal that underlies the N2 and the W2SW4 of Section 35
("Property").
This letter is to inform you that RME Land has reviewed information related to the
Application and evaluated the coal resources that underlie the Property. RME Land does not at this
time intend to file an objection with the County with respect to the Application.
