CENTRALIZATION OF WELD COUNTY PERSONNEL POLICIES AND THE
SOCIAL SECURITY COVERAGE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
eoloa'adO, pursuant tO Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, under Section ( } Rule Charter for
4-2 B of the Home
Weld County, Colorado, the Division of Personnel is responsible
for assisting the Board of County Commissioners in the prepara-
tion of a system of employment policies , rules, job classifica-
tion and compensation plans for Weld County, and
WHEREAS, under such section, the Charter requires that all
employees of the County be included within the provision of the
personnel system, except as may be—otherwise specifically ex-
cluded by the Charter, and •
WHEREAS, employees of the Weld County Health Department,
the Weld County Library, and the Weld County District Attorney
are presently included within the Weld County Personnel Policies,
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate the Director of
Personnel responsible for compliance with the social security
coverage agreement with the State of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Director of Person-
nel of the County of Weld , State of Colorado is responsible for
compliance with its social security coverage agreement with the
State of Colorado, and r
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that such responsibility
shall include all employees of Weld County, including the enr.lcyee
o the Department of Health, the Weld County Library and the
..\_d County District Attorney.

SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that this Resolution
shall be effective retroactive to January 1, 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made.
and seconded, adopted by' the following vote on the 29th day of
October, A.D. , 1980, nunc pro tunc, January 1, 1977.
