RE: ESTABLISH AMOUNT OF BOND FOR WELD COUNTY TREASURER AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30-10-701, C.R.S., the Board of County
Commissioners is required to establish the amount for the Public Official's Bond required for the
Weld County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has recommended that
$250,000 be the amount required for bonding.
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to establish $250,000 as the
amount for the Public Official's Bond required for the Weld County Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that $250,000 be, and hereby is, established as the amount of Public
Official's Bond required for the Weld County Treasurer.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of December, A.D., 2002.
