We request consideration that the fees for a USR for a Confined 1. ng Operation be capped to a maximum of$5,000 for the following reasons. ' ttm ty already has the highest USR fees compared to surrounding counties. il'ittla- 1r'': ty's proposed fee,if capped at$5,000,will be up to 5 times the highest fee of counties. 3.11.p.._, . is not a significantly additional amount of work for a 1,000 head dairy or a 10,000 T1011ili r, r 'ms`s o provision in the fee structure to account for a poultry operation, for example g ireF-4n¢ oe •Corp.,Crystal Farms in •Hudson, who added 1 million birds last year.It was a fairly simple USR 5. The Health Department typically does not substantially review Manure Management Plans or Nuisance Plans until after the hearings because they do not want to spend the time unless a use is approved. We respectfully request this adjustment and would be willing to meet to discuss this issue should you need additional information.
