RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jim Dwyer be appointed to said board to
replace Randie Lanning; that Randy Spaedt be appointed to said board to replace Ron
Pfleiderer; and that Judy Stevens be appointed to said board to replace Kenny Richardson, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gordan Ledall, Barbara Carter, and Jane
Evans Cornelius be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Jim Dwyer, Randy Spaedt, and
Judy Stevens, and reappoint Gordan Ledall, Barbara Carter, and Jane Evans Cornelius to said
board, with their terms to expire September 30, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Jim Dwyer, Randy Spaedt, and Judy Stevens be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Fair Board, with their terms to expire September 30, 2005.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Gordan Ledall, Barbara Carter, and Jane Evans Cornelius be, and hereby are,
reappointed to the Fair Board, with their terms to expire September 30, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 30th day of October, A.D., 2002.
