RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD RECOGNIZING DENMAN/WYMER FINAL RECOVERIES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County has received notice of a final distribution in the matter of City
of Orange v. City of San Diego Retirement Association, Case Number 025999 and,
WHEREAS, Weld County has received a final distribution in the matter of the
Bankruptcy of Denman and Company, SA 92-12666 JR, and
WHEREAS, no other recoveries are anticipated with respect to litigation to recover
funds lost as a result of the criminal acts of Steven Wymer, individually, and through his
corporate entity, Denman and Company, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the final distributions in the matter of City of Orange v. City of San
Diego Retirement Association, Case Number 025999, and in the matter of the Bankruptcy of
Denman and Company, SA 92-12666 JR, be recognized as the final recoveries in the Wymer/
Denman matter.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23d day of December, A.D., 2002.
