HomeMy WebLinkAbout20020308.tiff MINUTES OF THE WELD COUNTY UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE A regular meeting of the Weld County Utilities Coordinating Advisory Committee was held on Thursday, January 10, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., in the Conference Room of the Weld County Planning Department at 1555 N. 17th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado. Members Present: - Jerry Adams Greeley Gas Donald Carroll Weld County Public Works Also Present: Sheri Lockman, Planner; Donita May, Secretary '....�. 1. APPLICANT: Marty Mathews CASE NUMBER: S-616 PLANNER: Sheri Lockman REQUEST: Re-subdivision for the vacation of the E2 of Tract 6,Aristocrat Ranchettes Filing LEGAL: E2 of Tract 6,Aristocrat Ranchettes, 2"d Filing, being part of the W2 of Section 27,T2N, R66W of the 6th P.M.,Weld County, CO LOCATION: South of and adjacent to Mary Avenue and west of and adjacent to Higgins Avenue Sheri Lockman, Planner, presented case S-616 for a re-subdivision for the vacation of the E2 of Tract 6, Aristocrat Ranchettes,2n°filing. It is an illegal land split and the applicant wants to vacate the E2 of Tract 6 in order to correct the illegal split. There is an existing home on the E2 of Tract 6. Don and Jerry agreed there is no need for additional easements, but want to retain the original 10 foot easements on the south side of the lot. Jerry Adams made a motion to approve the applicants request with the condition that the original 10 foot easement remain. Don Carroll seconded,with the stipulation that Cody Woolridge, Doug Dalton, and Mark Peterson be contacted as to whether they have any reservations regarding passage of this case. All board members not in attendance were contacted following the meeting. Doug Melby, Don Magnuson, and Cody Woolridge responded by telephone that they had no concerns with the application. 2. APPLICANT: Scott&Crystal Johnson CASE NUMBER: S-621- Request for approval of a PUD Final Plan to vacate a utility easement on a parcel of land described as Lot 46, Corrected First Filing, Beebe Draw Farms, being part of Section 8,T3N, R65Wof the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado. PLANNER: Sheri Lockman REQUEST: PUD Final Plan to vacate a utility easement LEGAL: Lot 46, Corrected First Filing , Beebe Draw Farms, being part of Section 8 T3N, R65W of the 6th P.M.,Weld County, CO. LOCATION: West of and adjacent to Essex Drive North Sheri Lockman, Planner, presented case S-621 for approval of a PUD final plan to vacate a utility easement. The home was built to the wrong pin and the new builder wants the existing easement vacated. Utilities contacted are agreeable to the vacation. Jerry Adams made a motion to approve the applicants request with the condition that the north easement is the only vacation;the east,west, and south 25 foot easements remain. Don Carroll seconded,with the stipulation that Cody Woolridge, Doug Dalton, and Mark Peterson be contacted as to whether they have any reservations regarding passage of this case.
