RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that James Rohn be appointed to said board as
the District 1 representative, to replace Cristie Nicklas; and that Bernard Ruesgen be appointed
to said board as the At-Large representative, to replace Louis Llerena, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Folsom be reappointed to said board
as the District 5 representative; and that Bryant Gimlin be reappointed to said board as the At-
Large representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint James Rohn and Bernard Ruesgen
to said board, with their terms to expire July 31, 2005, and July 31, 2004, respectively, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint John Folsom and Bryant Gimlin
to said board, with their terms to expire July 31, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that James Rohn and Bernard Ruesgen be, and hereby are, appointed
to the Planning Commission, with their terms to expire July 31, 2005, and July 31, 2004,
respectively.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that John Folsom and Bryant Gimlin be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Planning
Commission, with their terms to expire July 31, 2005.
