RE: DENY PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND OF TAXES - PINNACLE TOWERS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 20th day of March, 2002, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to April 17, 2002, to allow the
Assessor's Office staff time to review additional information received.
WHEREAS, on April 17, 2002, the following members were present: Chair Glenn Vaad
and Commissioners M. J. Geile, David E. Long, and Robert D. Masden, and
WHEREAS, notice of such meeting and an opportunity to be present has been given to
the taxpayer and the Assessor of said County, and said Assessor, Stan Sessions, being
represented by Duane Robson, and taxpayer Pinnacle Towers, not being present, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have carefully considered the attached
petition, and are fully advised in relation thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Board concurs with the amended oral recommendation of the
assessor made during the hearing of April 17, 2002, and the petition be and hereby is, denied,
and an abatement refund not be allowed on the following:

Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado.
