heard by the Weld County Planning Commission on May 7, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. in Room 210,Weld County
Planning Department, 1555 N. 17th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado, at which time you may appear and
comment, should you so desire.
It is my understanding that Carlson Oil and Gas, Inc. is owner of 100% of the mineral estate underlying

and USR-1372,Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit
Hearing Date: March 19,2002
Having been notified of this hearing,we present our concerns and objections regarding
this permit. We are the sole owners of the mineral interests in the property involved.
We object to the proposals as they have been submitted and request that the proposals be
amended to provide for the following;
1. Protect the continued and unrestricted acepas to the wellhead for whatever is
necessary for the efficient maintenance and operation of the well and any necessary
protection or development of the well,including but not limited to rework or
redrilling of the well.
2. Provide for due consideration of the statutory set-backs around the well and from any
buildings and equipment relating to well operations.
3. Provide that any pre-existing rights to efficiently maintain and operate the well or to
protect or develop the well,including but not limited to rework or redrilling of the
well,be acknowledged and addressed by inclusion of a paragraph acknowledging and
guarantying the continued existence of those rights in any permits or amended
permits issued as a part of USR-1371 and USR-1372.
