This letter is to confirm our conversation of 5/15/02 and save as notification of my intentions to open a
small retail store on my property. The legal description of the property is Lot A of RE-1057;Pt of the
SW4 of Section 1,T2N,R67W of the 6th P.M.,Weld County,Colorado.

I am sending you the lame plot map,which I submitted to the County Planning Dept.so that you old
visualize the location of the proposed site as it relates to your operations on the property. The building
fran which I intend to operate this store is existing,therefore should not impact your operations in any
way. I do not plan to expand the proposed store,or add any other structures.
A hearing dates has been scheduled for June 18th,2002,at 1:30 p.m.(room 210) with the Weld County
Planning Department, 1555 N. 17th Ave.,Greeley,CO.
It is my understanding after our conversation of 5/15/02 that Kerr McGee,Howard W.Cantrell and
Veronica J.Cantrell are the only mineral owners far the above mentioned property.

letter dated May 15, 2001 concerning the above captioned lands. Upon review of the plat
that was enclosed with the notice letter, KM has no objections to plat as presented. As
you are aware,there may be additional oil and as operations around the existing well in
the future,therefore, KM will need to maintain access to the wellsite,production
facilities,and natural gas pipelines on the property at all times. KM will coordinate such

r-. We have reviewed the Cantrell's property site and their plans to
convert an existing building into a small retail operation. The location
does not impact our property adversely. There is a safe and large
parking loop so no cars need to park along the edge of the road. The
items to be sold will support local entrepreneurs, artisans and
agricultural businesses.
We do not object to this specific request.
