RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND
USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1347 FOR AN OPEN PIT GRAVEL MINING
OPERATION AND CONCRETE AND ASPHALT BATCH PLANT IN THE A
(AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -AGGREGATE INDUSTRIES WEST CENTRAL
REGION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant
to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with the application of Aggregate Industries
West Central Region, 3605 South Teller Street, Lakewood, Colorado 80235, c/o Banks and
Gesso, LLC, 720 Kipling Street, Suite 117, Lakewood, Colorado 80215, fora Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1347 for an Open Pit Gravel Mining
Operation and Concrete and Asphalt Batch Plant in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 17th day of July, 2002, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter, at the request of the
applicant, to Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. to allow for a hearing before a full
quorum of the Board of Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
July 31, 2002, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of July, A.D., 2002.
