In December 2001, Cynthia Janeway of Ernst & Young filed abatements for Nextel West
Corporation for tax year 1999. The petition was timely filed and should be approved. The
company submitted incorrect numbers for the accumulated depreciation on Colorado
property in its 1999 Annual Statement of Property. The company has now submitted
correct numbers.
