RE: APPOINTMENT OF JAMES O 'DELL AND REAPPOINTMENT OF WAYNE SMYTH
TO UNIFORM BUILDING CODE BOARD OF APPEALS .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been informed
that two vacancies exist on the Uniform Building Code Board of
Appeals, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to appoint Janes O'Dell and to reappoint Wayne Smyth to the Uniform
Building Code Board of Appeals for terms to expire December 31,
1982 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that James O'Dell be, and
hereby is, appointed to the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals
for a term to expire on December 31, 1982 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Wayne Smyth be, and
hereby is , reappointed to the Uniform Building Code Board of
Appeals for a term to expire on December 31, 1982 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
January, A.D. , 1980.

Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals : The term of Mr. Sam Barclay
expired on December 31, 1979 . Following revision of this board last
year which included expansion to seven members , it has been recommended
that this position be filled by appointment of a heating, cooling, and
ventilating contractor to fulfill requirements of the Building Code.
Recommended for your consideration is
The term of Wayne Smyth is also expiring, and it is recommended that
he be reappointed for a three-year term to expire December 31 , 1982 .
