RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON
AGING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Harold Chadwick be appointed to said board
to replace Mary Batman, and that Michelle Hernandez be appointed to said board to replace
Shirley lanelli, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Betty Jones and Josie Sanchez be
reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Harold Chadwick and Michelle
Hernandez, and to reappoint Betty Jones and Josie Sanchez to said board, with their terms to
expire January 31, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Harold Chadwick and Michelle Hernandez be, and hereby are,
appointed, and that Betty Jones and Josie Sanchez be reappointed to the Area Agency on
Aging, with their terms to expire January 31, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of April, A.D., 2002.
