RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING RECONSIDERATION OF CHANGE OF
ZONE #602 FROM THE A(AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT TO THE PUD
(PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) ZONE DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSIDERING THE REFERRAL AND TESTIMONY OF THE TOWN OF MEAD AND
ANY TESTIMONY OF THE APPLICANT OR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC RELATING
TO NEW EVIDENCE PRESENTED BY THE TOWN OF MEAD AND SET HEARING
DATE - MIKE SIEGRIST
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated June 26, 2002, the Board of County Commissioners
approved the application of Mike Siegrist, 875 West 64th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80221, for
Change of Zone #602 from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to a PUD (Planned Unit
Development) Zone District for 618 lots with R-1, R-2, R-3, and R-4 (Residential) Zone uses, 31
lots with C-1, C-2, and I-1 (Commercial and Industrial) Zone uses, and 239 acres of common
open space, including a community clubhouse, on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of Section 35, and the SW1/4NW1/4 and the
NW1/4SW1/4 of Section 36, Township 3 North,
Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, staff inadvertently failed to send a referral to the Town of Mead for review,
and
WHEREAS, in light of said oversight, on July 1, 2002, at 9:00 a.m., the Board deemed it
advisable to set a hearing date for August 12, 2002, at 9:00 a.m., to reconsider the Application
of Mike Siegrist for Change of Zone #602 from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD
(Planned Unit Development) Zone District for the purpose of considering the referral and
testimony of the Town of Mead and any testimony of the applicant or members of the public
relating to new evidence presented by the Town of Mead, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing on August 12, 2002, testimony was received and the matter
was continued to August 14, 2002, to allow for further consideration, and
WHEREAS, after hearing all of the testimony of the Town of Mead and any testimony of
the applicant or members of the public relating to new evidence presented by the Town of Mead
and, having been fully informed, finds that Change of Zone #602 shall be approved as stated in
the Board's Resolution #2002-1649, dated June 26, 2002.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board that approval of the Application of
Mike Siegrist for Change of Zone #602 from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD
(Planned Unit Development) Zone District for 618 lots with R-1, R-2, R-3, and R-4 (Residential)
Zone uses, 31 lots with C-1, C-2, and I-1 (Commercial and Industrial) Zone uses, and 239 acres
of common open space, including a community clubhouse, be, and hereby is, affirmed as
stated in the Board's Resolution #2002-1649, dated June 26, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of August, A.D., 2002.
