N RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEED BETWEEN
WELD COUNTY AND HAROLD BAUMGARTNER FOR REAL ESTATE DESCRIBED
AS PART OF SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 63 WEST OF
THE 6TH P.M. , WELD COUNTY, COLORADO.

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
O Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the

en affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

.-i WHEREAS , the County Attorney has informed the Board of

County Commissioners that there is a certain parcel of land
owned by Weld County, (known as the Baumgartner pit) more parti-
co
cularly described as follows, to-wit:

The Southeast Quarter (SE') of the Southeast
Quarter (SE') of Section Fourteen (14) ,
Township One (1) North, Range Sixty-three
(63) West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County,
Colorado, containing forty (40) acres more or
less.
said parcel of land is no longer needed by Weld County, Colorado
and in order to clear our records, this property should be
Quit claimed to the owner, Harold Baumgartner, and
WHEREAS, Harold Baumgartner is willing to accept a Quit
Claim Deed from the County of Weld, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County
Commissioners that it would be in the best interests of
Weld County to Quit Claim said above described parcel of land
to Harold Baumgartner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that the Chairman of the Board be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed from the County of Weld
to Harold Baumgartner for the above described parcel of land.

QUIT CLAIM DEED

0 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the County of Weld,
a subdivision of the State of Colorado, for good and sufficient

consideration, hereby sells and quit claims to THE PRESENT OWNER
OF THE SURFACE OF THE BELOW DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY the following
real property in the County of Weld and State of Colorado, to-wit:
The Southeast Quarter (SE;) of the South-
east Quarter (SE') of Section Fourteen
(14) , Township One (1) North, Range
Sixty-three (63) West of the 6th P.M. ,
Weld County, Colorado, containing forty
ti (40) acres more or less.

with all its appurtenances.
The purpose of this instrument is to release any claim
which the County of Weld may have to remove gravel, sand and
other road-making materials from the above described property,
those rights having been granted to the County of Weld by
virtue of an instrument recorded at Reception No. 1621226 in
Book 699, Weld County, records; and further to include the pro-
perty for assessment for tax purposes.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, said County of Weld, acting by and
through its Board of County Commissioners, has caused the
corporate name to be hereunto subscribed and its seal to be
hereunto affixed and attested by the Weld County Clerk and
Recorder this 16th day of September , A.D. , 1981.
