RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF PUBLIC
HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Syl Manlove be appointed to said board as
the District 5 representative, to replace Melvin Brown, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Charles Baum, Anne White, and Lynn
Michaud be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Syl Manlove to said board, with a
term expiring May 23, 2003, and,
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Charles Baum, Anne White, and
Lynn Michaud to said board, with their terms to expire May 23, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Syl Manlove be, and hereby is, appointed to the Board of Public
Health, with her term to expire May 23, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Charles Baum, Anne White, and Lynn Michaud be, and hereby are, reappointed
to the Board of Public Health, with their terms to expire May 23, 2005.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 22nd day of May, A.D., 2002.
