RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO HUMAN SERVICES
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dawn Klaus be appointed to said board to
replace Carolyn Burnmeister and that Patricia Pena be appointed to said board to replace
Christina Garza as the Parent Policy representatives, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Lee be reappointed to said board as
the City of Greeley representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Dawn Klaus and Patricia Pena,
and to reappoint John Lee to said board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Dawn Klaus and Patricia Pena be, and hereby are, appointed to
the Human Services Committee, with their terms to expire December 31, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that John Lee be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Human Services Committee, with
his term to expire December 31, 2004.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of January, A.D., 2002.
