RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE COMMUNITY
REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Juvenile Community Review Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kyle Ragland be appointed to said board as
the Social Services representative, to replace Al Arriessecq; that Dan Fremont be appointed to
said board as an alternate, to replace Paul Cooper; that Paulette Tarnasky be appointed to said
board as the mental health representative, to replace Rebecca Quick; and that Laura Daniel be
appointed to said board as an alternate, to replace Patricia Orleans, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jim Gault be reappointed to said board as
the Division of Youth Services representative; that Sunita Sharma be reappointed to said board
as the Bar Association representative; that Patty Hughes be reappointed to said board as the
citizen representative; and that Louisa Warfield be reappointed to said board as Patty Hughes'
alternate, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Kyle Ragland to said board, with
his term to expire November 1, 2003, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Dan Fremont, Paulette Tarnasky,
and Laura Daniel and to reappoint Jim Gault, Sunita Sharma, Rick Brady, Patty Hughes, and
Louisa Warfield to said board, with their terms to expire November 1, 2005, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Kyle Ragland be, and hereby is, appointed to the Juvenile
Community Review Board, with his term to expire November 1, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Dan Fremont, Paulette Tarnasky, and Laura Daniel be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Juvenile Community Review Board, with their terms to expire November 1,
2005.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Jim Gault, Sunita Sharma, Rick Brady, Patty Hughes, and Louisa Warfield be,
and hereby are, reappointed to the Juvenile Community Review Board, with their terms to
expire November 1, 2005.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of November, A.D., 2002.
