THERE ARE A TOTAL OF 63 LOTS WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABATED INDIVIDUALLY INSTEAD OF AS A GROUP. THEREFORE, THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY TAXATION DENIED APPROVAL BECAUSE THE AMOUNT OF TAXES TO BE ABATED OR REFUNDED WAS $1000 OR LESS PER SCHEDULE. THE PETITION WAS REFERRED BACK TO THE ASSESSORS OFFICE. The Division of Property Taxation does not have jurisdiction over abatement petitions when the amount of taxes to be abated or refunded is $1,000 or less per schedule,per year. RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND OF TAXES - KELLY FARMS, LLC WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 4th day of September, 2002, at which meeting there were present the following members: Commissioners M.
