RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM SCOTT AND CRYSTAL JOHNSON TO PRE-ADVERTISE
SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FINAL
PLAN, S #621, TO VACATE A UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Scott and Crystal Johnson, 516
Sunnyslope, Loveland, Colorado 80537, for pre-advertisement of an application for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Planned Unit Development Final Plan, S #621, to vacate a
utility easement, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as Lot 46, Corrected First Filing, Beebe Draw
Farms; being part of Section 8, Township 3 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request,
with the hearing date to be set as February 13, 2002, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request from Scott and Crystal Johnson for pre-advertisement
of an application for a Site Specific Development Plan and Planned Unit Development Final
Plan, S #621, to vacate a utility easement, be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
request be, and hereby is, set as February 13, 2002, at 10:00 a.m.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Request for Pre-advertisement
Scott and Crystal Johnson have submitted a request that the application for Planned Unit
Development Final Plan, S#621, to vacate a utility easement, which will be heard by the Planning
Commission on February 5,2002, be pre-advertised. If you wish to approve this request,a hearing
before the Board on February 13, 2002, will allow adequate time for advertising.

SUBJECT: Early Board Hearing
The Weld County Department of Planning Services and the applicant for S-621, a Final Plat of
Beebe Draw Subdivision, are requesting an early board hearing. Should the Board choose to
accept the request Planning Staff would suggest the hearing be conducted on February 13,
2002.

This letter is to help inform you of the importance of the vacation
of my easement at 16524 Essex Dr. N. Platteville, Co. We have been in the
prrocess of trying to have our house constructed since May of 2000.
We were under the understanding that our property line was at a different
location.When we realized it was not we considered that it cost us
approximately $23,000 to remove the foundation and start over. We are
also paying interest and storage fees of approx. $600.00 per month as we wait.
I would very much appreciate a early review of my case.
