Dear Mr. McDonough:
The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG)was contacted on August 28, 2002, regarding the
status of the gravel pit located in Sections 30 & 31,Township 2 North, Range 67 West. My conversation
with a representative from DMG indicated that this particular operation has been terminated and the file
has been archived. In order to reactivate the permit a new Use by Special Review (USR) application will
need to be completed and reviewed by the County. The USR process will enable the Division of
Minerals and Geology to review the application and start a new file.
