RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO UNIFORM BUILDING
CODE BOARD OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that James Fassler, general construction
representative, and Ron Bernhardt, plumbing contractor representative, be appointed to said
board, to replace Charlie Wisdom and Tom Fisher, respectively, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint James Fassler and Ron Bernhardt
to said board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2002, and December 31, 2004,
respectively, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Sam Ainsworth, heating contractor
representative, be reappointed to said board, with a term to expire December 31, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that James Fassler and Ron Bernhardt be, and hereby are, appointed
to the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals, with their terms to expire December 31, 2002,
and December 31, 2004, respectively.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Sam Ainsworth be, and hereby is,
reappointed to the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals, with his term to expire
December 31, 2004.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 10th day of April, A.D., 2002.
