Dear Kim:
This letter follows up our various telephone messages regarding the above referenced
application for a special use permit that has been filed with Weld County by David and Lona Cowan
to allow for a dog breeding and rescue operation on approximately 1 acre on Lot 8,Block 45 of the
Aristocrat Ranchettes Subdivision ("Application").
I appreciate your prompt response to my questions regarding the Application.
As you are aware,this law firm represents RME Petroleum Company and RME Land Corp.
with respect to the Application. The RME entities own all of the minerals that underlie the property
that is the subject of the Application. In light of the information that you provided to me about the
