RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF SUSAN GEARHEART TO COMMUNITY
CORRECTIONS BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Community Corrections Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Susan Gearheart be appointed to said
board to fill the unexpired at-large position, to replace Betty Lee, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Susan Gearheart to said board,
with her term to expire August 1, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Susan Gearheart be, and hereby is, appointed to the Community
Corrections Board, with her term to expire August 1, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 20th day of February, A.D., 2002.
