Home My WebLink About20020241.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee, and WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Robert Masden be appointed to said committee to replace David Long as the County Commissioner representative, that John Cooke be appointed to replace Rick Dill as the Weld County Sheriffs Office representative, that Rochelle Galey be appointed to replace Scott Wykes as the Island Grove Regional Treatment Center representative, and that C. J. Archibeque be appointed as a community representative, and WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Shannon Lyons be reappointed to said committee representing the Public Defender's Office as a community representative, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the Nineteenth Judicial District that Robert Masden be appointed to said committee to replace David Long as the County Commissioner representative, that John Cooke be appointed to replace Rick Dill as the Weld County Sheriff's Office representative, that Rochelle Galey be appointed to replace Scott Wykes as the Island Grove Regional Treatment Center representative, that C. J. Archibeque be appointed as a community representative, and that Shannon Lyons be reappointed to said committee representing the Public Defender's Office as a community representative. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Robert Masden, John Cooke, Rochelle Galey, and C. J. Archibeque be, and hereby are, recommended to the Chief Judge of the Judicial District for appointments to the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee.
