Having reviewed the study, these are my recommendations: • If any of the lanes impacted by this proposal are substandard(do not meet current State Highway Access Code criteria for an EX highway), they should be made standard if possible. 1. The left turn deceleration lane needs to be 1150' (300' taper+ 800' decel length+approximately 50' storage) 2. The right turn deceleration lane needs to be 1,100 feet(300' taper+800' decel length) 3. The right acceleration lane needs to be 1,680' (300' taper+ 1,380' accel length).. • A "free-right"condition should be considered for trucks on WCR 18 traveling westbound to southbound SH 85. • Right-of-way constraints may not make it possible to construct the lanes to standards. Waivers will need to be written documenting any deficiencies. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. C_t7t,l.GL CCE.
