RE: ESTABLISH CHANGE FUND FOR WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SOUTHWEST
WELD COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the Weld County Sheriff's Office that
a Change Fund in the amount of $50.00 be established for use at the Southwest Weld County
Administrative Building, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Controller have
recommended approval of said request, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that a Change Fund in the amount of$50.00 be, and hereby is, established for
the Weld County Sheriff's Office.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of April, A.D., 2002.

Dear Claud:
I would like to request a change fund be added to the newly opened South West Weld County Complex.
The Sheriffs Office has a sub station located in the building and we are collecting several fees which we
have the use of change being made available. Manager Winsett supervises that office and requested
$50.00 for the change fund should be sufficient.
